Technical Issues Persist as My Service Canada Account Remains Unavailable for Employment Insurance Services

As of the latest reports, the My Service Canada Account (MSCA) is still not fully operational following the scheduled maintenance  from 2 am to 6 am (ET) on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Users attempting to access their Employment Insurance (EI) services through the platform continue to encounter technical difficulties, even after the designated maintenance period.

Service Canada, the government agency responsible for MSCA, issued a public notice in advance to inform citizens about the scheduled maintenance. However, some users might have overlooked or missed the announcement, leading to confusion and concern when they encountered the error message during the maintenance window. Despite the planned maintenance, the technical issues persist well beyond the designated timeframe. There is still no official information on the root cause of the problem or an estimated timeline for when the system will be fully restored.
